Face Frame Cabinets
Alpine Cabinet Company’s face frame cabinet construction is our standard yet highly durable option, perfect for homeowners looking to enhance their space with custom cabinets. This traditional construction method provides a classic, sturdy design that’s ideal for kitchen remodeling projects. Our face frame cabinets are available in five high-quality wood species, with four of those also offered in “knotty” or “rustic” variations, giving you a total of nine distinct wood choices. Whether you’re updating your kitchen or revamping another space in your home, our expertly crafted face frame cabinets bring both style and functionality to homes in Timnath, Colorado, and the Northern Colorado area.
Frame
Thoroughly kiln dried hardwood is used in all frame construction. For extreme strength, the Evans Frame System is used which incorporates glue and screws at every joint.
End Panels
½” Industrial grade particle board. Wood veneer is used on finished ends. The interior is finished with a birch print pattern. Exposed exterior ends are finished to match doors and face frame creating an all-wood finished exterior.
Tops and Bottoms
½” Industrial grade particle board. Color matched to the interior of end panels.
Backs
¼”hardboard, again matched to other interior parts.
Shelves
5/8” Industrial grade particle board with filled and finished front edge. All shelves are matched to the interior of the cabinet.
Drawers
Drawer sides are ½”, nine ply pre-finished birch plywood, glued and stapled using a rabbet joint. The drawer bottom is made from ¼” printed and finished hardboard, stapled to the drawer box. The bottom is secured to the box again with the attachment of the drawer rail. The drawer rail system is a 75# rated, epoxy coated, side mount system with side-to-side adjustment at the back.
Hinges
The hinges are a ½” overlay concealed hinge with six-way adjustment.
Wall Cabinets
All wall cabinets have adjustable shelves. ½” thick hanging rails, top and bottom, are added to the back of wall cabinets for installation purposes.
Base Cabinets
Base cabinets are standard with one fixed half-shelf. Corner blocks are mounted in the top corners to strengthen and square the cabinet.

- Drawers can be upgraded to a solid wood dovetail drawer with a ¼” plywood bottom.
- A wood veneer interior can be used in open cabinets or cabinets with glass doors.
- Rollout Trays can be added to base and pantry cabinets.

The drawer rail system is a 75# rated, full extension positive soft-close with side-to-side adjustment at the back.

Due to current staffing issues, we are unable to produce/offer Frameless style cabinets at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.
At Alpine Cabinet Company, our Frameless cabinet construction follows the sleek and modern “European” style, maximizing storage space and creating a clean, contemporary look. Ideal for kitchen remodeling and home remodeling projects, these custom cabinets are available in the same five wood species as our Face Frame cabinets, plus four additional wood choices. For commercial applications, we also offer frameless cabinets in durable plastic laminate. Our expert craftsmen use a glue and dowel construction method, ensuring long-lasting strength and stability.
End Panels, Tops, Bottoms and Shelves
¾” industrial grade particle board with white Thermalfused melamine edge banded to match wood and stain. Finished ends are ¾” 2-sided wood veneered particle board stained to match.
Backs
¼” industrial grade particle board with white Thermalfused melamine.
Drawers
100# rated, self-closing, metal drawer sides are attached to a ¾” Thermal-fused white melamine bottom and back. This integrated drawer rail system has a baked on epoxy coating and provides maximum drawer width.
Hinges
The hinges are a full overlay, soft-close, six way adjustable, clip on hinge.
Wall Cabinets
All wall cabinets have adjustable shelves. ½” thick hanging rails are added to the back of wall cabinets for installation purposes.
Base Cabinets
Base cabinets are standard with one full depth adjustable shelf. ¾” x 6” stabilizing strips are added at the top front and back of the cabinets to strengthen and square the cabinet.
Options
- Drawers can be upgraded to a solid wood dovetail drawer with a ¼” plywood bottom. This option includes an under-mount, full extension, positive close drawer glide.
- Hinges can be upgraded by adding a soft close mechanism.
- A wood veneer interior can be used in open cabinets or cabinets with glass doors.
- Rollout Trays can be added to base and pantry cabinets.
